After eating way too many of these...
I found myself in a fitness RUT.
I was running two miles five days a week and doing the same old boring weights I always did and seeing no results. Mind you I know it is because I was stuffing my face with the goodies but I needed a CHANGE.
I got just the change I needed when I was introduced to CrossFit
This is a very unique type of work out. It is a warehouse setting with no cardio equipment. Nothing fancy at all. I even had to change my work out attire so I looked tougher. It is all about intense strength training for a short period of time.
We have been three times and I have used muscles that I did not even know I had. I was so sore on Sunday I could hardly move.
This 28 minute work out on Saturday makes my Saturday morning spin class seem like a nap.
I am sticking with it and will keep you posted on the results!
Hopefully I'll be ready to sport this bad boy in a few weeks!
Can't wait to hear how you like Crossfit on a regular basis. What weigh routine do you do?
ReplyDeleteGood luck girl! I have been working out six days a week for the past three weeks, cardio, running, strength training, and spin. And in the third week it's finally showing!
ReplyDeleteI can't waittt to sport my bathing suit!
Xoxo
