Friday Five

This week marks the first week I have been home for the entire week with no out of town activities or events scheduled......................

Let me tell you it was FABULOUS!

I missed my hubby but I had this guy to snuggle with while he was away which is my TOP favorite thing from the entire week.

Coming in second on my list would be this beautiful pink package I received from a dear friend for my Big 3.0.

Who doesen't love Lilly?

Third would be the lovely package I got the Next day from another dear friend (my Birthday just keeps on going)

I must clarify that Ron did not go in Loft and pick this Leopard skirt out himself, instead he got me a gift card and I rushed over to purchase it since Leopard will be the Hottest trend this fall.
(key; stock up now as the fall trends are already out, if you wait until August or September they will be long gone, maybe to my closet)

My fourth fave would be all the quality time I got to spend with this pup. This is priceless. I found Toffee hanging out in the shower Tuesday night.

Coming in last but not my least fave by any means was dining out with my buddies not once but twice this week.

We hit up Bricktop's Wednesday

And Cheddar's on Thursday

Cross Fit is looking for me after this, gotta go!

Nashville Concerts- Take One!

As I mentioned yesterday the concerts at
CMA Fan Fest were well worth it.

I could not believe this many stars were in one location.

We stared our night out right, we were headed to dinner and hopped out of the cab to see
The Band Perry standing there signing autographs!

The crowd was all over them so we didn't get any better pics.

We had dinner at Merchants right on Broadway.

We met up with my cousin Loree who lives just outside Nashville and she came along for the wild weekend.

After a yummy dinner we headed down Broadway toward LP field.

This was such a happening place to be!

The first night line up was

Miranda Lambert

Lady Antebellum

Jason Aldean (my personal fave)

Maybe I can get Keith to wear this exact outfit, probably not going to happen but I can wish.

Kellie Pickler

Zac Brown Band

Brad Paisley

Enough said, huh?

Can you believe that many famous Country Singers were all here together!

Check back to see who performed on the second night, it was just as good!

Bump Powder

I suppose that blog title got your attention.

The name got my attention when Claire, my stylist mentioned it to me.

It is exactly what it says though,
Volumizing Bump Powder!

A big bump comes out of this tiny bottle.

Remember, I am NOT talking about this kind of bump, if you are looking for this type of bump you may very well be on the wrong blog.

Nothing personal Snookie, just not my idea of a bump, this is more like a mountain but you rock it like no one else!

However, this is more what I had in mind with my
Bump Powder.

Just a nice soft, lift "bump" at the root.

You just sprinkle a very small amount on your fingertips and rub it in at the roots.

This can be purchased at your local private salon if they carry Keune products.

It is a little pricey ( a bottle this size around $20) but it lasts for a long time and really adds that
"Bump".

I would love to see your bump pictures or hear your bump tips.

Nashville Girls Trip Take One!

We had been planning this trip for some time, however it was bittersweet because when the time came for the trip it also meant

"Farewell to the 20 Somethings"

We went mainly for CMA Fan Fair which was totally worth it.

We arrived on Thursday to the Gorgeous

Gaylord Opryland Hotel!

I visited here as a child and remembered it being like Disney World. I would have never thought it was really that big and great twenty years later,,,but it was.

This was my favorite spot in the entire hotel over looking the pond and falls.

We stopped here for a cheers and toast as soon as we checked in.

I am a sucker for a Peach Bellini.

All bets and calorie counts are off when a Peach Cocktail is on the table.

We headed up to our room, which is quite a walk considering the size of this place. Thank goodness for valet, we did not have to carry our luggage around.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our suite.

We decide that the "P" stood for the

Pimp Suite!

We got dolled up in our skirts and cowboy boots and headed out on the town!

Check back tomorrow for a recap of our first concert!

You won't believe how many Country Singers were at one location!

The Greatest Restaurant on Earth

Last week while visiting Nashville for the CMA Fan Fair we checked out Copper Kettle for Sunday Brunch. This was highly reccomended by Classic Annie as she had just visited Nashville as well.

Boy was she right on, this place was amazing!

When we arrived, we were surprised to discover it was such a small "hole in the wall"  in a very local residential area.

However when we walked in we were in Brunch Heaven On Earth!

They took our order for all you can eat Fresh Waffles and Omelettes and we helped ourselves to the buffet.

There was every type of Donut, Munchkin Donuts, pastries you could think of.

There was bacon, sausage, grits, smoked salmon (with capers), Ham, Prime Rib, and too much to even name!

Here are our fresh waffles that were delivered to us.

The Grand Finale of course was the dessert buffet! Yes, that is mini creme brulee's, key lime pie, pecan pie, and bananna pudding!

What more could a girl ask for?

Before you ask, YES we ate all this!

Stuffed and Ready for bed!

If you are in Nashville you must check this place out.

Bye Bye Burberry!

I love Burberry anything but especially their perfume.

I don't love the price of course and I definitely don't love dropping and cracking a fairly new bottle of Burberry Sheer Perfume!

I dropped my most recent bottle in Nashville last week. 6 girls in a room, even in a Suite and there will be some type of trouble.

But I sucked it up and went on the prowl for new perfume.

I was in Francesca's (where I can usually be found anyway) and came across their new perfume.

I could not believe how nice it smelled and the price was even better at only $28.00!

The perfume above is their "Signature" fragrance but they have three other options to choose from.

Have you been to Francesca's lately?

They get new shipments weekly so try to stop in often and check it out!

A Trip Home!

A few weeks ago we made a trip to our hometown for my cousin's graduation party and to celebrate my Mom's birthday!

On this trip, I learned a hard lesson!

Don't take your current atmosphere, surroundings and town granted.

I grew up in such a beautiful town, Greenville, SC that really evolved over the years.

There was a beautiful zoo, a lively downtown, parks, bike trails, shopping, etc.

My family and I had a beautiful brunch on the River during this trip home at Over Look Grill.

If you live near Greenville or happen to be visiting do yourself a favor and get here, oh and order the Shrimp and Grits.

After lunch we went for a stroll through the park and took some fun photos by the beautiful flowers.

So are you going to get out and enjoy your town?

I know I am.

I plan to enjoy Charlotte this summer and take in all it has to offer.

I will raft the river.

I plan to walk in the parks

And I will take in a Panthers game this fall.

Hope to see you around town!
