"Where we Belong
While I love her and all her books, it pains me to tell you it was by far not her best. Maybe that is just because I don't think anything can compare to "Something Borrowed" her very first book.
Anyway, it was a good read there just was not a real climax. And might I add the ending,,,,,,WHAT???? Ok I won't spoil it for you because it is worth the read but I look forward to hearing what you think about it.
It really made me think though afterward. The story is about adoption, a young girl gets pregnant and chooses to give her daughter up.
Years later, she wonders did she make the right choice, what a tough position.

I love her books and have read them all too! I loved "Where We Belong", it was one of my favorites, although I do agree that her first was her best.:)

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you. It wasn't her best work. In my opinion, some of the emotion was missing. It could have been a really emotional story, but something about it felt hollow.
