Blogger's Cook Out

Thank you so much Dee and Classic Annie for planning such a fun event for all of

The Charlotte Bloggers.

It was so nice to get to meet some new ladies and meet some of their husbands and sweet babies.

There were actually two sets of twins there but one of the little girls was sleeping so she did not make the picture.

You never know who may pull out a bee bee gun at Classic Annie's house, definitely a fun time.

I failed to take any of my own pics because there were so many cameras out so I stole these from the other ladies.

Happy weekend!

Date Night with Mom and Dad

We took Toffee out to enjoy an evening on the Lake with us.

He had a blast at the marina but did not love the Life Jacket he had to wear to much.

We had such a fun and relaxing Family Night out.

But just like any other outing on the lake we were ran off by a big bad storm. We watched a great lightning show right from the water.

Glamping!

If you will remember this time last year

Keith and I were given a little camper..............

And we have used it ONCE!

Well our next door neighbors too got a camper last week and are our official new
Camping Buddies.

We went about two hours north to The Uwharrie National Forest.

My mom got us this darling sign for Christmas.

Keith loves Miss Shelby!

I am most excited to have a Glamping Buddy who likes to tablescape and decorate her campsite as much as I do.

 Cheers!

Of course Toffee came along but I am not sure he will get to come on every trip. He ate something in the woods and got sick when we got home.

For dinner the boys steamed up a
Southern Low Country Boil

Can't wait for our next trip!

Wedding Weekend

Keith and I went to his former coworkers wedding a few weekends ago.

Who does not love a wedding? For a while Keith and I were at a wedding what seemed like every weekend a few years ago and not so much this last year.

We were thrilled when we got an invitation for Keith's coworker and old friends Tiger and Angie's wedding.

Even better, the wedding was in our hometown and right down town.

So about mid day Saturday we headed to Greenville.
We went all out and made it date night for ourselves as well. We got a room with a balcony at The Hampton Inn right on the river.

What a view, I believe Greenville is a beautiful city.

The wedding was at The Loft at Falls Park.

Not a good pic of us but we were having too much fun to worry about pics.

The bride certainly had herself a great time.

Wasn't she beautiful?

The next morning before heading home one of my oldest, dearest and bestest friends who lives right by the Hotel walked over with her family for Brunch and a little stroll through the city.

If you live in Greenville and have not tried Smoke on The Water you are truly missing out. We had to go there while visiting as it was one of my very fave spots when we lived in Greenville.

That my friends is a Loaded Potato Cake.

Delicious. I could eat a dozen.

Look at Lil Grant.....He is nearly walking as he creeps up on his 1st Birthday at the end of this month.

Me and Anna!
We used to be next door neighbors and people would often ask if we were sisters. We were not just next door neighbors in our apartments we even bought houses right next door to each other. Well, I bought one right next to her. LOL.

Anna and me again FIVE years ago.

Wow, time flies.

What's Goin' On!

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would be a busy bee working on my new project which is why the blog has taken the back seat.

Here are a few pics of the progression along the way.

Busy as ever it is keeping me!

Work Out Wednesday

I have mentioned before that Keith and I like to torture ourselves and have been doing Cross Fit for a little over a year.

This my friends is a typical work out you could find us doing.

5 Rounds

Row250m

50 Ab Mats

40 Push Press

30 Double Unders

20box jumps

10Pull Ups

5 Burpees

That my friends is why I am so sore today that I can hardly move.  I should have titled this post
"Restful Wednesday".

I have been sticking at it for over a year and I am still the slowest and weakest in the gym.

Although I can see and feel improvements  which is good enough for me.

Now, Keith on the other hand is looking finer than........ EVER.

Yep, that hottie is all mine!

Now, if only I could get my eating under control I could look as hot.
