Day 3 and 4-Blog Every Day

Day 3
 Things That Make You Uncomfortable

I am not offended easily and not much makes me feel uncomfortable but there are a few things that I cringe over.

Spiders and Palmetto Bugs-Yuck, nuff said.

Unexpected Visitors-Nothing personal but the thought of not being able to tidy up the house or get out of my jams makes me cringe.

Not knowing the menu-I so wish I could be like my husband and eat anything but I cringe at the thought of going to eat somewhere and not knowing what we are going to eat. I usually will eat anything and like nearly everything but I just like to know first. Weird I know but I am putting it all out there.
(just in case you invite me over to dinner-LOL)

Day 4
Favorite Quote

Do not let your Heart be troubled. John 14:1

I have always struggled with anxiety and being a worrier so I often have to refer back to this verse.

Things don't always work out the way we plan them, but they always work out-Keith Vermillion

Keith often has to remind me of this when I get upset when something falls off path.

I'm really good at................Blog Every Day 2

Educate us on something you know alot about or are good at. Take any approach you'd like (serious and educational or funny and sarcastic)

Hmmmm..... This is an odd one for me. My hubs says I am NOT good at loading the dishwasher. My passion is fashion but that does not mean I am "good" at it. I just enjoy it.

But I am really good at Time Management and Being Organized. (Keith would  disagree with this because he does not see the importance of the things on my to do list so he says I just piddle around)

But he will certainly agree that I can get more done in one day than most. The reason for that is I make ONE (key here) detailed list of everything I need to do. I am not kidding here, I write EVERYTHING down. Even feed the dog, pay power, what ever it is because if I don't I WILL forget and even more importantly I get so much joy from checking things off my list.

So, stick to one list and write it all down and enjoy that accomplished feeling at the end of the day when you are looking back at your to do list and all those items you checked off.

St. Thomas

Please pardon the pic over load but this is what we woke up to on Tuesday morning.

Who could ever get tired of this amazing view out the side of your room?

Jewelry Shopping in St. Thomas.

I got this MK watch for less than half price.

Score!

Sun bathing at Magens Bay Beach in St. Thomas.
We had to go up the side of the mountain to come down the other side in the middle of all of these.

We finished the night off at another delicious dinner  and a lil beach party on the pool deck.

Day at Sea

This day paid off huge for us.....

Literally!

Keith hit the jackpot on this strange Key in a Lock machine and won $1,000 bucks!

We were so excited because we never win anything so this was huge. Look at Keith's smirk. He was on cloud nine.

And yes that is one hundred ten dollar bills.

We spent the most part of the day lounging by the pool and relaxing.

So, my least fave part of cruising is bad hair days. It is so windy out in the middle of the sea so a nice hair day by the pool is not in the cards ladies.

We spent the rest of the night at
Caliente with our new friends dancing the night away!

Blog Every Day May!

I am linking up with

Blog Every Day in May!

Day 1, Wednesday: The story of your life in 250 words or less (or one paragraph... no one will be counting your words... probably)

So, Here goes...

I was born in Greenville, SC almost 31 years ago. I am an only child but lucky enough to have 8 cousins who were just like brothers and sisters as my mom was one of six children. I always wanted lots of sisters, three or four even so I could have sleep overs every night. I was also lucky enough to have three aunts who were better than sisters. They are my best friends 31 years later. I loved my life in Greenville and couldn't be more thankful for the 26 years I spent there with great friends and family.  I left my hometown kicking and screaming and moved to Albany, Georgia where Keith (whom I met in Greenville) and I made a wonderful life and group of friends before his job transferred us to Florence, SC where we also had a great time and made some more family like friends. One of which I will be attending a baby shower in the next few weeks. We landed in Charlotte four years ago and have been busy trying to plant our seeds and find our way in the big city. We have made some more good friends here that we enjoy hanging in the hood with. I was lucky enough to marry Keith (one of four) and now I got my three sisters I always wanted in Carey, Courtney and Carmen. I got the bros too but they probably aren't reading the blog so they don't need a shout out. Keith and I have a twelve year old baby boy Toffee who is the center of our  my world.

That's a wrap, see you tomorrow!

Bahama Mama

We docked in The Bahamas on Sunday Morning.

We found a great lil beach bar and had a cocktail.........at 10am.
Who cares we are on vacation right?

Back on the boat and ready to set sail!
